Traditional Classes

The Karuna School at Walden will offer exciting and challenging college preparatory classes in English, math, science, languages, and history. Classes will be taught with an experiential and interdisciplinary approach to learning. Students will be empowered to explore their passions and interests, sustained by the guidance of their teachers, peers, and the Karuna School community.

Academic Evaluation

Written evaluation of a student’s work and progress will be generated by both the student and his or her teachers and will be documented in an ongoing portfolio. Colleges and post-graduation programs will receive copies of these evaluations and portfolios in the place of a transcript with grades. Students will be offered preparation for the SAT’s.
